However once someone from the allowed group logs on to any computer they should be allowed to access USB removable storage. USB Drive Setup Blocked By Group Policy I have upgraded my laptop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and I am not able to connect my laptop with my USB Hard Drive. So the goal is that the USB is blocked for all machines on the domain. Just need some advice on how to add an exception to the rule and allow a group to have access to USB removable storage. However the problem is that when I log on as a user that should be allowed to have access to USB drives, access is still being blocked. I have a single No USB access GPO and I have linked to the OU that has the machines that I wish to have this applied to. However I selected a group and gave it the Deny permissions for Apply Group Policy. The policy blocks USB removable storage access. I have started off and configured it partially. With the exception of a few users.ĭo I need more than one group policy object to set this up? I'm trying to disable all removable storage access to all computers.
